Maison Margiela and NUDAKE Launch "OOPS" Deconstructionist Teaware and Tea Collection in Seoul

Maison Margiela and Korean creative brand NUDAKE have launched the "OOPS" deconstructionist teaware and tea collection at HAUS NOWHERE SEOUL.
Maison Margiela has partnered with NUDAKE (韩国创意品牌), the Korean creative brand, to release a co-branded collection called "OOPS," combining deconstructionist teaware and a specially formulated black tea. The collection launched on October 30, 2026, and is available exclusively at the NUDAKE TEAHOUSE at HAUS NOWHERE SEOUL in Seongsui-dong, Seoul.
The teaware applies Maison Margiela's signature Bianchetto coating to ceramic pieces, giving them a slightly aged, whitewashed aesthetic. The teapot features a sculptural silhouette, a metal ring on the lid, and the house's classic four-corner stitching detail. Matching teacups have irregular curved rims, and each set is paired with dual-layer tea saucers designed to serve two people. The collection also includes branded travel cups.
The accompanying "OOPS" black tea was developed around the image of deep red plums being crushed underfoot, yielding a blend of vanilla, fruit, and earthy notes. Dual-chamber tea bags allow two cups to be brewed simultaneously, reinforcing the collection's shared-experience theme.
The launch is accompanied by an installation conceived with GlassDuo (波兰玻璃艺术组合), a Polish glass art duo, incorporating approximately 1,500 glass cups.
The collaboration extends Maison Margiela's pattern of translating its deconstructionist codes into unexpected product categories through creative partnerships — a approach also evident in its fourth eyewear collaboration with Gentle Monster, which featured 68 designs and a campaign film by Alex Prager.
