This Humanoid Robot Just Fly-Kicked Its Own CEO 😭🤖

Where are Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics when you need them??

Where are Isaac Asimov’s Three Laws of Robotics when you need them?? 🤖💥

The CEO of ENGINEAI (Zhongqing Robotics, 众擎机器人), Zhao Tongyang, decided to prove a point — with his own body. The Shenzhen-based company dropped a now-viral demo showing Zhao stepping onto a test mat in full protective gear to “experience” the explosive power of the T800, a full-size humanoid robot standing 1.73 meters tall and weighing 75 kilograms.

The first kick looked strong but survivable. The second? The T800 launched a perfectly aimed fly kick straight into his abdomen, sending him rolling backward across the mat. Zhao got up wheezing and half-laughing, saying, “That was way too violent,” and admitted that without padding he would’ve absolutely broken a rib. The internet immediately declared this the wildest product demo of the year 💁‍♀️⚡

ENGINEAI is considered a rising “dark horse” in China’s humanoid robotics race. Founded in 2023, the company’s core team includes alumni from Tsinghua, Berkeley, and XPeng’s robotics division — and they’ve been pushing a “physical capability first” strategy from day one.

Just one day after the kick video dropped, ENGINEAI announced a massive new funding round: 1 billion RMB backed by giants like JD.com and CATL 🔥. With mass-production centers underway in Shenzhen and Zhengzhou, one thing is clear… these robots are getting stronger — maybe a little too strong.
