In Chengdu, a small team of women with toolboxes is quietly reshaping an entire industry — and the internet is obsessed 🔧

Founded in 2024 by Li Xiaoxiao (also known as Jiajia Da), the all-female repair team “Qiangji Nugong” started with just two members. Today, it has grown to around 10 people, offering services like appliance repair, lighting installation, and even PC assembly. But what really sets them apart isn’t just what they fix — it’s who they’re fixing it for.

Their main clients? Women living alone.

In China, it’s common for repair services to be dominated by male workers, and many women have shared concerns about letting unfamiliar men into their homes. This team offers an alternative that feels safer and more comfortable — and that demand is real. The group has already served over 1,000 households in Chengdu.

Their attention to detail also hits different: shoe covers at the door, protective mats on the floor, and clear explanations after every job. It’s giving “repair service, but make it thoughtful” 🧰

Beyond fixing things, they’re also training more women. Through partnerships with local communities and vocational schools, they’ve helped over 100 women earn basic electrician certifications.

From a niche idea to a growing movement, this team isn’t just repairing homes — they’re rewiring who gets to hold the drill ⚡
