Prada Rongzhai Launches Two Mid-Autumn Festival Pastry Gift Boxes for 2026

Prada Rongzhai's 2026 Mid-Autumn gift boxes include a premium edition with wooden inlay craftsmanship and an edible cookie Go set, plus an entry-level green box.

Prada Rongzhai (迷上 PRADA 荣宅), the luxury brand's Shanghai heritage venue, is releasing two Mid-Autumn Festival pastry gift boxes ahead of the holiday on September 20, 2026.

The premium version features wooden inlay craftsmanship and contains six handmade pastries alongside an edible Go set — playing pieces formed from cookies. The second, entry-level box comes in Prada's signature green with geometric prints and holds three handmade pastries. Both editions position the gift box as a collectible object as much as a food product.

The release follows Prada Rongzhai's Mid-Autumn offering from the prior year, which centred on two flavours of handmade mooncakes — tangerine peel red bean and jasmine flower tea — packaged with origami-inspired design and a nine-piece origami set included inside.

The two-tier structure of the 2026 range broadens the accessible price points under the Prada Rongzhai name, allowing the brand to address both high-spending gift buyers and consumers seeking a lower-commitment entry into the seasonal line. The integration of a playable cookie chess set in the premium edition also extends the experiential logic that luxury houses have increasingly applied to seasonal food gifting in China, using craft and interactive elements to differentiate from standard mooncake formats.
