FREITAG Runs Two-Day "Glass Clinic" Pop-Up in Shanghai With Jingdezhen Glass Studio

FREITAG hosted a two-day "Glass Clinic" pop-up in Shanghai with Jingdezhen glass studio East Sea Dragon Palace Human Affairs Office on November 7–8.
Swiss bag brand FREITAG ran a two-day "Glass Clinic" pop-up at its Shanghai Gaozhou Road store on November 7 and 8, in collaboration with Jingdezhen glass studio East Sea Dragon Palace Human Affairs Office (东海龙宫人间办事处). Artists Qin Yuling (覃钰玲) and Yang Dongheng (杨东衡), both known for working with recycled glass and material imperfections, took on the role of "glass doctors" for the event.
Visitors were invited to bring broken glass objects to the store, where the artists discussed repair and reuse options with them directly. The activation centred on finding ways to give damaged items a second life rather than discarding them — an approach consistent with FREITAG's longstanding focus on material reuse and upcycling in its own products.
The event was held exclusively offline at the single Shanghai location over the two-day run.
