Dior and A24 Announce Two-Year Creative Collaboration Spanning Film, Theatre and Live Events

Dior and A24 have launched a two-year partnership spanning film, theatre and live events, marked by a short film featuring Sabrina Carpenter and Josh O'Connor.

Dior (迪奥) and independent film production company A24 have announced a two-year creative collaboration covering film, theatre and live events, with a launch date of September 15, 2026. The partnership will bring together artists from across film, theatre and fashion, supporting both established figures and emerging talent, and offering students opportunities to engage with film and theatre creation and practice.

To mark the announcement, Dior released a promotional short film directed by Aidan Zamiri in which singers and actors audition to play Dior Creative Director Jonathan Anderson. The cast includes singer Sabrina Carpenter, and actors Josh O'Connor, Drew Starkey, Camille Cottin and Sophie Wilde. Each performer wears Anderson's signature checked shirts and jeans, walks briskly with hands in pockets, and imitates his runway gestures and accent. Anderson himself appears in the film, playing his own role.

Anderson described the partnership in a statement: "Combining these two fields together and seeing what sparks we create for each other is incredibly exciting. This is a collaboration full of infinite possibilities, because creativity is at its core."

The tie-up pairs one of fashion's major luxury houses with a production company known for artistically ambitious, awards-oriented cinema. By extending into theatre and live events — and explicitly naming student access as a programme objective — the collaboration signals an ambition that goes beyond conventional brand-content marketing toward longer-term institutional engagement with the arts.
