By mid-December, Starbucks China had officially turned winter into wizard season ☕️🪄 — and muggles were very much welcome.

The Starbucks x Harry Potter winter collaboration rolled out nationwide with themed drinks, immersive stores, and peak fandom energy. One standout location was the Starbucks Reserve flagship at Tianjin Hang Lung Plaza, housed in a historic building completed in 1921. After three years and over a thousand days of renovation, it’s often called one of the most beautiful Starbucks stores in China — and this winter, it received a full magical makeover ✨🏰.

Fans showed up wrapped in Hogwarts house-style scarves, holding wands, lining up for limited drinks. On Rednote, the Starbucks Harry Potter collab hashtag pulled millions of views within a single day, with users sharing wand-waving interactions, themed interiors, and house-themed collectibles 📱🔥.

The magic spread far beyond Tianjin. Nearly 40 Hogwarts-themed Starbucks stores appeared across cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen, while 1,200+ locations hosted Hogwarts house-style handcrafted workshops 🧙‍♀️☕️.

The menu leaned fully into the wizarding world. Three limited-edition lattes led the drop:

• Magic Ball Berry Raspberry Latte — a fruity, cheesecake-like blend with raspberry sauce and creamy milk 🍓

• Hogwarts Caramel Tart Latte — rich caramel sweetness with a warm, bakery-style finish 🍮

• Wizard Party Earl Grey Citrus Latte — Earl Grey tea meets coffee and citrus, topped with a lightning-bolt design ⚡️🍊

Coffee, but make it Hogwarts ✨☕️
