Salomon and Protect LDN Launch Limited-Edition "SLUSHIE" Sneaker Built on ACS NEXT Silhouette

Salomon and London label Protect LDN have launched the SLUSHIE, a limited-edition ACS NEXT-based sneaker with a gradient colorway and nostalgia-driven insole artwork.

Salomon (萨洛蒙) and London streetwear label Protect (保护), known as Protect LDN, have launched a limited-edition co-branded sneaker called the SLUSHIE, built on Salomon's ACS NEXT silhouette. The collaboration was announced on October 25, 2026 via WeChat.

The SLUSHIE's colorway runs from red to blue in a gradient, accented with metallic silver and bright yellow. Metal silver covers the toe and body support structure, white frames the side panel, and yellow detailing provides contrast throughout. Brand logos appear on the tongue, heel, and insole. The heel pull tab carries Protect's "DO YOUR THING" slogan, and the insole features hand-drawn artwork sourced from the personal childhood memories of Protect's founders, referencing early 2000s culture and millennial-era color aesthetics.

The design concept bridges Salomon's outdoor footwear construction with Protect LDN's streetwear sensibility, framing nostalgia as its central creative proposition.

The SLUSHIE follows a pattern of outdoor performance brands anchoring limited drops in lifestyle and cultural storytelling rather than technical specs alone. Salomon has moved in this direction before — its earlier collaboration with Jolin Tsai on the XT-WHISPER SUEDE JOLIN sneaker similarly used a co-branded, personality-led vehicle to reach style-conscious consumers. The Protect LDN partnership adds a cross-cultural dimension, pairing a Chinese-marketed drop with a London streetwear identity and centering the narrative on founders' childhood memories — a tactic that shifts the conversation from product features toward emotional resonance.
