Nike and SKIMS Open China's First NikeSKIMS Offline Space in Shanghai

NikeSKIMS opened its first China offline retail space in Shanghai on September 29, 2025, running until February 2026, with nine fabric series and sizes XXS to 4X.

NikeSKIMS, a collaboration between Nike (耐克) and SKIMS (卡戴珊主理的品牌), opened its first offline retail space in China in Shanghai on September 29, 2025, with the activation running until February 2026. The pop-up marks the brand's debut physical presence in the country.

The collaboration pairs Nike's sports technology and performance research with SKIMS' inclusive sizing philosophy. The inaugural product range spans nine fabric series, along with footwear and accessories. Clothing is offered in sizes from XXS to 4X, and the space also provides on-site alterations for select products. The campaign carries the tagline "Wei xing er su, wei dong er sheng" — sculpted for the body, made for movement.

The Shanghai space runs for approximately five months, making it one of the longer-format pop-up activations for an international sportswear launch in the market. No sales figures or foot-traffic targets have been disclosed.

The extended five-month format — rather than a short-run pop-up — signals a deliberate effort to build brand familiarity in a market where NikeSKIMS has no prior offline footprint. Inclusive sizing from XXS to 4X, combined with in-store alteration services, addresses a gap that mainstream international sportswear labels have historically underserved in China, and positions the collaboration as a longer-term retail proposition rather than a promotional moment.
