Big travel flex alert 🚨: Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) in southern China just dropped its stunning new Terminal 3 (T3) — and yes, it’s giving art museum meets botanical garden vibes 🌿💫.

Officially opened on October 30, 2025, T3 is built around the idea of a blooming flower 🌸, echoing Guangzhou’s “Flower City” nickname. It also marks the start of CAN’s “five runways and three terminals” era, making it the first civil airport in China to operate five commercial runways 🚀. The upgrade boosts its annual capacity to 140 million passengers and 6 million tons of cargo — basically turning it into a global aviation beast 🦾.

But here’s the fun part: inside T3 you’ll find a massive atrium with art installations, a botanical garden, and even a century-old tree park right inside the terminal 😳🌳. The ceiling’s golden wave-like curves echo the Silk Road, while stone-patterned floors draw inspo from Guangzhou’s historic Beijing Road 🏮.

So if you’re landing in Guangzhou or even just transiting, your airport layover just got a serious glow-up. Snap a selfie, breathe in some real plant air, and vibe in the prettiest airport in China 💁‍♀️🌸📸✈️
