LEMAIRE Collaborates With Photographer AiHeMei and Ceramic Artist Li Qing on Three Handmade Ceramic Plates

LEMAIRE partners with photographer AiHeMei and ceramic artist Li Qing to produce three handmade plates combining painting and ceramics for autumn-winter 2026.
French fashion house LEMAIRE has collaborated with Shanghai-based photographer and painter AiHeMei (徐静) and ceramic artist Li Qing (李清) to produce three handmade ceramic plates for the brand's 2026 autumn-winter period. The works — titled "Moonlight Flower," "Traces of Autumn," and "Moon Above the Treetops" — draw on plant forms, seasonal abundance, and the turning of seasons.
The plates are designed to function as everyday dinnerware when laid flat and as decorative art objects when displayed vertically. Li Qing handles the ceramic process in its entirety, taking each piece through shaping, air-drying, sanding, glazing, and re-firing. AiHeMei then applies paintings to the finished surfaces, working in soft colors and abstract lines to render natural imagery. Each plate carries the personal signatures of both artists.
LEMAIRE invited the two artists to document their own creative process, capturing working environments and daily states as part of the project's visual record. The three pieces are available at LEMAIRE's Shanghai Wukang Road flagship store and at boutique locations in Beijing and Chengdu.
