Louis Vuitton just brought its global glow to Chengdu — and it came with a twist of shua qi (playful chill) 🐼💅

From October 17–22, the French maison hosted a limited-time event titled “Chengdu, Let’s Play” (Chengdu, Shua Qi) to celebrate the launch of the new Chengdu edition of the City Guide. The pop-up blended reading, fragrance, and gastronomy, turning Chengdu’s Taikoo Li into a hub of slow-life luxury.

The spotlight was on LV’s “Journey to China” fragrance collection, featuring three new unisex scents: Rain Tea, Ink Mark, and Moon Tale — all created by master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.

Rain Tea captures the calm of Sichuan teahouses with lemongrass, magnolia, and rose.

Ink Mark channels Chinese calligraphy through sandalwood and incense.

Moon Tale glows with jasmine, peony, and raspberry. 🌙🌸

Each perfume came in lacquered bottles inspired by 18th-century Chinese snuff bottles, available only in China. Visitors could sip tea, browse the City Guide, and experience Chengdu’s mix of elegance and ease — LV-style 🍵✨
