OPPO is officially giving college students their K-pop idol era moment 🥹✨

In 2025, OPPO launched its first-ever College Dance Contest, tied to the Reno15 series and aimed straight at Gen-Z campus culture. The idea is simple: dance, show up, and go all out. With the theme loosely translating to “one dance to break out,” the contest has rolled through multiple cities across China, turning campuses and malls into mini idol stages 🎤🔥

The competition is open to current college students, mainly team-based, with formats like group choreography, 4v4 battles, and 2v2 matchups. Styles lean heavily into K-pop routines and street dance, plus freestyle solos and crowd-hype moments. Judges are mostly experienced street dancers, and scores combine technique, performance, creativity, and choreography 💃🕺

Prizes are very real: depending on the city, champions can win up to 2,000 RMB, plus popularity awards around 1,000 RMB, while runner-up teams take home 1,500 / 1,000 / 600 RMB. Add exclusive Yuqi merch and custom OPPO gifts, and suddenly this feels less like a contest and more like a touring dance festival 🎁✨

Competitive, chaotic, and very Gen-Z — OPPO didn’t just host a dance event, it handed college kids a spotlight and said: go be the main character 💥🎶
