Balenciaga and Valorant Open Concept Internet Cafe in Shanghai During 2026 Champions Global Finals

Balenciaga and Valorant opened a free concept internet cafe in Shanghai with 70 PC stations during the 2026 Champions global finals.

Balenciaga (巴黎世家) and Riot Games (拳头游戏) have opened a concept internet cafe in Shanghai tied to the 2026 Valorant (《无畏契约》) Champions global finals. The venue, branded the Valorant | Balenciaga Concept Internet Cafe, offers approximately 70 PC gaming stations at no charge, alongside limited-time access to 2026 Champions skin trials.

The space is divided into several functional zones: a competitive arena, a champion spectating area, a luxury equipment showcase, a highlight corridor, a 2026 Champions trophy display, a mobile game highlights area, and an energy drink bar. Four streamers — Gus789, unbeatable-tang-egg, night-lotus-Annbbers, and Badwoman — served as one-day internet cafe managers, each available for limited-time interactions with visitors.

Entry to the event is free. Gaming time slots and meet-and-greet reservations are handled through the Valorant Official Assistant WeChat mini-program. Approximately 1,700 gaming appointment slots released for the National Day period sold out immediately upon going live.

The activation places Balenciaga squarely inside competitive gaming culture rather than alongside it — adopting the format of a local internet cafe, a space deeply embedded in Chinese gaming history, rather than a conventional brand pop-up. The collaboration extends the luxury house's ongoing positioning at the intersection of high fashion and digital entertainment.
